The game is inspired by the original Dream Catcher prize wheel, also known to carry elements from traditional Wheel of Fortune games as seen on television and at Carnivals in the nineties.

The gameplay revolves around the main featured game and four bonus games. It is insanely easy to play since players must only place bets on numbers and bonus games. This article will teach you everything you need to know about Crazy Time. From how to play the game to the best betting strategies.

What is Crazy Time?

Crazy Time is a live casino game show developed by Evolution gaming with a 54-segment wheel akin to the original Dream Catcher. The wheel consists of money prizes ranging from 1x to 10x your original stake, along with four different bonus rounds:

  • Cash Hunt

  • Coin Flip

  • Pachinko

  • Crazy Time

To put it simply, a presenter hosts the game show. Their job is to spin the wheel and participate in the game’s bonus rounds, demonstrating the process and adding a fun element to the game.

The money wheel consists of 54 segments, each containing a number, i.e., 1, 2, 5, or 10, or one of four bonus games. Like most games with money wheels work, players bet on the expected outcome. The number also represents the multiplier

The wheel and the Top Slot spin simultaneously at the beginning of every game round.

How to Play Crazy Time

If you are a player who doesn't like to get involved with an extensive list of game rules, Crazy Time is the game for you.

Refer to the following steps to play Crazy Time:

Head to the Live Casino Sectio to Play Crazy Time

The casino takes you to the Evolution Gaming live studio, where you see the host presenting Crazy Time for all the participating players. You can see the studio on your device screen with betting options at the bottom.

Place Your Bets

You get 8 different bets to choose from. Firstly, you determine the amount you wish to play with. You can choose one bet, but you can also play more - in which case, the “play them all” option is also available.

The Host Spins the Wheel for You

Once your betting time is over, the host spins the wheel, and the Top Slot begins spinning simultaneously. The Top Slot also represents a random multiplier for one of the betting slots.

The Multiplier is Fixed

The wheel consists of 54 segments. The 8 bets are then divided among the segments. There are plenty of number 1 segments, but only one segment is with Crazy Time. Every game round, a multiplier is set for one of the bets; if the wheel stops at a segment with that bet, the multiplier is triggered.

The Wheel Stops

If the wheel halts at a segment with the number you have placed a bet on, you win. When the wheel halts at a bonus, this will trigger a bonus, which you can play if you have placed a bet on it. You only watch if you did not place a bet on a bonus.

The Bonus Game

The game pays you immediately when the wheel stops at your bet number. You also get paid after the wheel stops at a bonus you have to play.

All the Crazy Time Bonuses: Explained

You may expect the following special features while playing this exciting game. The multiplier applies to any of the eight things you place a bet on. That includes one of the four numbers or bonuses you can draw.

☘️ Cash Hunt

The Cash Hunt bonus appears only twice on the wheel. This round entails a shooting game containing random multipliers scattered across the screen. The 108 multipliers are then concealed by symbols and shuffled around so you cannot tell which is which.

Next, choose the symbol you believe has the highest multiplier in the shooting gallery. You must use your finger or a mouse (depending on your device) to aim and shoot a cannon at a symbol.

After choosing, the game reveals all the multipliers so you can see what you picked and what you didn’t. The maximum payout for this round is 5000x your stake.

☘️ Coin Flip

The Coin Flip bonus is basic in its premise. It is the most common bonus game and occupies four slots on the spinning wheel. Other than that, you are guaranteed to win something from this round.

A coin with a blue and red side is placed in a slot; the host flips it into the Flip-o-Matic for you. A random multiplier is assigned to each side of the coin, with one high and the other low. Ultimately, whatever side of the coin faces up is declared the winner, and you win the multiplier assigned to that colour.

This bonus can pay up to 5000x your bet but requires a Top Slot 50x multiplier carrying over into the round. If the assigned multipliers are low, a Rescue Flip might occur after the first flip. The host is then alerted to do another coin flip which does not require an additional bet.

The game restarts at the betting time after the bonus round ends.

☘️ Pachinko

The Pachinko bonus round does not require any intervention from players. This involves a purple-coloured pegged Pachinko wall with 16 drop zones at the top and the same number of Prize Multiplier zones at the bottom.

The goal is for the “Puck” to travel down to the prize zone, bouncing off pegs in between and eventually landing in one of the multiplier zones.

The bonus round begins with multipliers or the term “Double” added to every prize landing zone. The host climbs the stairs behind the board and drops the puck into the Pachinko wall from a random drop zone.

The puck then travels down the wall, constantly changing directions as it bounces off peds until it lands in one of the prize zones.

If the puck lands in a prize zone with the word “Double”, all the other multipliers gain twice their value. The host grabs the puck again and drops it from a random drop zone. This can continue until the player reaches a maximum 10000x multiplier or the puck lands in a prize zone with a multiplier.

If the prize multiplier lands in a zone with a prize multiplier between 2x to 4x, the game may activate a Rescue Drop. The host then drops the puck into the Pachinko wall again when this happens. The game round ends when the puck lands in a multiplier prize zone.

☘️ Crazy Time

Crazy Time is the game's name and a bonus round. This bonus round is considered the money-making round in the game. Since the win potential is huge, there is just one Crazy Time segment on the wheel.

The host opens a red door to a large, virtual Crazy Time Wheel. This wheel has 64 segments loaded with multipliers, Double rounds, and Triple rounds before the start of every game round.

At the beginning of the round, you select one of three flappers coloured green, blue, or yellow. These are positioned at the top of the wheel. Once the wheel stops, the player gets the prize for the segment where their flapper stops.

If the flapper stops on a Double or Triple, the multipliers are boosted by that amount. The wheel spins again for the players playing that colour. The game round ends once the flapper stops on a multiplier segment.

Multiple doubles and triples can add up to 20000x your bet.

Crazy Time: an Optimal Playing Strategy

Most players wonder whether they can use an optimal playing strategy to play Crazy Time. The player must make tough choices in several places in the game. Such choices may be by probability or by how much bankroll you have.

Crazy Time is indeed based on its bonus rounds. If you want to win more often, you must have an active bet on the bonus-round positions on the betting grid. The excitement kicks in when the wheel segments are assigned multipliers. The chances of winning big money come when these multipliers occur on the bonus wheel segments.

The best scenario would be for the Crazy Time segment to carry a multiplier. From that point, the player can only hope that doubles and triples spin on the Crazy Time wheel to get the payouts to increase.

The game will mostly offer smaller wins on the bonus rounds, i.e., from 5x-25x, so it is unlikely that you will hit a significant win regularly. The 100x wins occur less often, and the 250x and up wins are even rarer. You can expect wins worth 10000x to occur around once a month.

Crazy Time: More Helpful Strategies

Like any other game, Evolution Gaming’s Crazy Time is a game of chance. Remember that you will win based on luck when utilising the tips below. These tips will only help you play smarter. No strategy guarantees that you will win every time. Below are three strategies you use when playing this game:

Low Volatility Strategy
This strategy aims to limit your losses, making your session last as long as possible. Many players use this strategy during a wager, for instance. You place bets on the 4 bonuses and the 10, 5, and 2. Balance your bets between the boxes so that each number repays you when it falls.
Medium Volatility Strategy
The main idea here is to take more risks than the last strategy. In this strategy, you bet on the mini-games and the number 2 together. Why not 5 or 10? This is because the number 2 appears more often on the wheel and, therefore, is more likely to fall.
High Volatility Strategy
If you understand the previous two strategies, you will know what to expect with this one. The main goal of this strategy is to bet on luck and count on a quick profit. In this strategy, you only bet on the mini-games consistently. You will be rewarded if a mini-game arrives swiftly and lands a good multiplier.

Consider accommodating your bet to your current balance, so your session lasts as long as possible. Using this high-volatility strategy with a low balance would be extremely risky. If nothing goes in your favour, you could lose everything instantly.
