BoyleSports has recently made public a ‘significant investment’ into S Gaming, a slots studio startup, as it looks to boost its casino content.
The brainchild of former InTouch Games executive Charles Mott and industry stalwart Kevin McGinnigle, S Gaming was recently launched this year and is planning to debut its first lobby of games in Q4. Mott and McGinnigle started on this venture together after the former had been with InTouch Games for over four years while the latter worked for 8 Ball Games for more than nine years across operational roles. As part of this investment with BoyleSports, a number of bespoke games will be added to this startup’s platform as of January 2024. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, S Gaming is targeting the recreational player cohort, with plans to launch content with a series of tier-one operators in the UK.
‘S Gaming first met the team from BoyleSports at ICE, where the idea around an investment opportunity was born’, claims Mott. ‘Their vision, approach and sheer scale made this a no-brainer for us. Their ability to move fast, combined with their transparency really hit home with us; the cultural fit was just right'. |
BoyleSports gaming director, Steve Payne, said: ‘Although this is a first for BoyleSports working with S Gaming, I previously worked with both Charles and Kevin, which made the decision to invest in their business very easy for us’. |
Payne goes on to say that BoyleSports is excited to collaborate with S Gaming and ready to bring bespoke content on board the company to expand its content portfolio and support the team in every innovative way.
‘We’re extremely excited to hit the ground running’, says Mott, ‘and are determined to repay the faith showed in us by the BoyleSports team’. |
This latest investment by BoyleSports follows its recent acquisition of Peruvian operator Tmberazo earlier this year.
